New Builder Team Led by Davis Homes Announced for 2024 Indianapolis Home Show Centerpiece Home
Davis Homes returns to build 10th Centerpiece Home in 20 years.
INDIANAPOLIS (November 20, 2023) – Laura Groninger, manager of the Indianapolis Home Show, is excited to announce the return of Davis Homes to lead the builder team at the Home Show for the 2024 Centerpiece Home.
Davis Homes will unveil its Eastland Craftsman design for the Centerpiece Home, a one-story, 1,955-square-foot home with three bedrooms and an office space along with a recessed front porch. An intimate foyer leads to an open gathering room with a fireplace that flows into the gourmet kitchen. The dining nook looks out onto the outdoor patio complete with pool and firepit. The floorplan also includes a laundry with pet area and owner’s entry off the two-car garage.
Davis Homes President and CEO Brad Davis reflected on the importance of the Indianapolis Home Show to his employees and customers.

The Centerpiece Home will offer a fresh, eye-catching elevation featuring multiple materials — stone, brick and wood — that add depth, texture and dimension. The Centerpiece Home’s interior design is by Greg Riley of Model Home Interior, an award-winning design firm with offices in 27 states, including Indiana.
“The essence of our home design draws from the classic Craftsman style, evoking an uncomplicated yet elegant charm,” Riley said. “Throughout the space, the selection of finishes, fabrics and decor demonstrates the versatility and richness this design aesthetic brings.”
Riley continued, “We’ve harnessed the abundant natural light from the expansive windows, allowing it to accentuate the grandeur of the coffered ceiling in the great room and the tray ceiling in the primary suite.” The color palette features soothing tones, such as muted greens, soft whites, bold blacks and warm neutrals, and is thoughtfully paired with a variety of textures both inside and outside the house.
“These colors and textures come to life against the clean lines of the timeless Craftsman home, uniting elegant simplicity with modern functionality,” Riley said.
JMT Landscape Group will create and customize the landscaping for the Centerpiece Home, designing and building both the hardscape and landscape elements.
“We’re going to feature a lot of different ways for how to show off the backyard — from modern and contemporary to natural and traditional,” said JMT Landscape Designer Principal Tyler Schnell. “Plus, there will be a pool, grill island with a roofed structure and a bar island with a louvered pergola. We want Home Show visitors to see that no matter what kind of home they have, they have options for how to style their landscape.”

The 2024 Indianapolis Home Show opens Friday, Jan. 19, and continues through Sunday, Jan. 28. Admission is $15 for adults, $3 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger.
