Local builder and designer influenced by today’s modern trends

Davis Homes is a local, family-owned builder currently building On Your Lot Homes throughout Central Indiana as well as building new homes in numerous communities in and surrounding the Indianapolis area.
Davis Homes will unveil their Woodford floor plan with an impressive Modern Prairie exterior design elevation as the Centerpiece Home, which is built entirely inside Exposition Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. This one-story, 3,325-square-foot home welcomes you with a dramatic volume foyer and an open gourmet-style kitchen, which flows comfortably into an expansive great room. It also includes three bedrooms, a study, 2½ baths, spacious master suite with a fireplace and private outdoor porch area, three-car garage, and a laundry room with pet amenities. This home will also feature the on-trend Flex Suite attached to the main living area, with a private and separate living, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. At the end of the day, you can relax and unwind in the beautiful covered rear patio area featuring the warmth of an outdoor fireplace for those cooler evenings.

“My inspiration for this is home is the Sophisticated Bohemian Chic design currently trending across the country,” Rouse said. “I am drawn by the weighted earthy textures and eclectic feel from the blending of old and new. The design features a simplistic, clean look that is so dominate in this trend. Exposed wood beams, a curated collection of materials and crisp horizontal lines will be featured in a way that allows Home Show attendees to envision ways to bring the eclectic boho chic style into their own homes. Soothing hues, including muted greens, soft whites, bold blacks and warm neutrals will be paired with multiple textures both inside and out. This interesting combination will give the home a relaxed and sophisticated boho feel.”
Calvin Landscape will create and customize the landscaping for the Centerpiece Home, designing and building both the hardscape and landscape elements.
“Gorgeous flowers with trees galore will frame the Centerpiece Home,” said Jim Calvin. “Then in the backyard, Home Show visitors will find a one-of-a-kind space with an outdoor kitchen and an extra-special water feature.
