Meet the Servizzi and Miller Families | Building Stories by Davis Homes

Jason and Elizabeth and their five children Cole, Natalie, Olivea, Izabelle and Everett (and Elizabeth’s parents David and Betty) recently invited us to their Davis built home in Pittsboro, IN.

We are thrilled to share their building story with you!

Three years ago, David and Betty purchased a wooded lot in Pittsboro, IN. They had originally planned to build two homes on the property.

After a conversation with Davis Homes On Your Lot Specialist, John Chiarotti, Jason and Elizabeth brought up building a Davis Homes floor plan with a separate living quarters attached to their home for Elizabeth’s parents, David and Betty. David and Betty really liked the idea and the Servizzi and Miller families collectively ended up choosing the Davis Homes Nantucket floor plan with a separate living quarters attached.

Jason and Elizabeth really liked the Nantucket floor plan for a few reasons.

The main floor of the home feels open, yet cozy.

It has a dining room large enough to seat their entire family.

And, the master suite is located on the main floor.

When we asked Elizabeth which room in the home is her favorite, she said she has two.

First, the kitchen pantry, which allows her family to keep their kitchen free of clutter.

And, really allows them to show off their beautiful granite countertops and sleek white cabinets.

Second, the flex space that you see to the left when you walk through the front door.

Elizabeth loves how cozy and bright the carpet and windows make this room feel. This is the only room in the main living area of the home that has carpet, rather than the waterproof luxury vinyl plank flooring they chose for the rest of the first floor.

Jason said his favorite room in the home is the family room. He loves the high ceiling, fireplace and large windows.

All of the Jason and Elizabeth’s children’s bedrooms are located on the second floor of the home, including this sweet nursery for their youngest, Everett.

David and Betty’s side of the home is all on one level and was designed to be wheelchair accessible. It features warmer tones of rich browns and bright reds. And, they love having their grandchildren live next door.

We’d like to thank the Servizzi and Miller families for welcoming us into their home and sharing their Davis Homes building story with us. And, we hope they continue to enjoy sharing their home with family and friends for years to come.
