Gabriel and Stephanie and their dog Theodore recently invited us to their home built by Davis Homes. We are thrilled to share their building story with you!
Gabriel and Stephanie looked at a few On Your Lot builders. They ultimately decided on Davis Homes while touring the Davis Homes Bradbury Floor Plan Model Home. During their tour, they saw a the Woodford Floor Plan displayed on a wall and knew this was the floor plan for them.
They chose the Woodford Floor Plan for a few reasons.
They love the tall, grand foyer.
They added some drama to the space with large, modern lighting, double front doors and painted the arched openings Sherwin-Williams Tricorn Black.
They always knew they wanted to paint the inside of the coffered ceiling, but had contemplated different treatments like shiplap for the fireplace. They eventually decided to keep the fireplace flat and paint it black to allow the sconces to shine.
Stephanie loves to cook and entertain. An open-concept kitchen and dining with plenty of seating was a must-have for her, while choosing the floor plan.
They selected a subway tile backsplash with some movement allowing the light to reflect, mixed metals for their kitchen faucets and appliances, quartz countertops, a stainless steel farmhouse sink, white cabinets with clean lines, stained floating shelves to bring warmth into the space and a pantry with a frosted glass door.
Their primary suite makes you feel like you’re walking into a luxury hotel.
The alligator textural print wallpaper with the modern sconces bring an elevated sophistication to the space.
And, their bathroom is a full spa experience.
The walk-in shower and large soaking tub with gorgeous pendant lights hanging from above are stunningly beautiful.
We’d like to thank Gabriel and Stephanie and their dog Theodore for welcoming us into their home and sharing their Davis Homes building story with us. And, we hope they continue to enjoy sharing their home with family and friends for years to come.
