Curt and Lindsay Chase and their children Clayton, Lacey and CJ recently invited us to their Davis built home in Edinburgh, IN. We are thrilled to share their building story with you.

The Edinburgh area has always been “home” for Lindsay and Curt, so they decided to buy a large piece of land in Edinburgh with hopes of building their family’s forever home.

When the time came to choose a home builder, Davis Homes was the logical choice. They knew they would get a quality built home, because Lindsay’s sister has built two homes with Davis Homes.

When Lindsay and Curt started the process, they originally had a one-level home plan in mind. They ended up going with the two-level Manchester floor plan because of the functionality the plan offers.

They liked the open concept on the first floor.

And, the large loft, spacious bedrooms and huge walk-in closets on the second floor.

They love that they can look out any window of their home and see their chickens…yes, the Chase family has chickens {additional “Chase chickens” and dogs, Ace and Sampson not pictured}.

Each of the Chase children love having their own room. Clayton, like his father, is a huge Chicago Cubs fan.

Lacey loves that her walk-in closet is so big that she can also use it as a playroom.

And, CJ is a train lover so a railroad themed bedroom was the perfect choice.

Lindsay loves that the open concept will allow Curt and her to host family Thanksgivings for years to come. And, they are so glad they went with a waterproof vinyl alternative flooring – it’s durable and looks great!

We’d like to thank Curt, Lindsay, Clayton, Lacey and CJ for welcoming us into their home and sharing their Davis Homes building story with us.

And, we hope they continue to enjoy sharing their home with family and friends for years to come.
